Context
本計畫由台灣淋巴水腫公益協會發起，透過「520 公里單車長征」作為行動載體，喚起社會對癌症後遺症——淋巴水腫的關注。該疾病常伴隨長期腫脹、疼痛與行動限制，對患者的生活品質與心理狀態造成持續影響。
Approach
影像以紀錄式手法為核心，追蹤兩位醫師從北到南 520 公里的騎行行動，將個人行動轉化為公共議題的視覺敘事。
拍攝策略聚焦於旅程過程中的身體狀態、路途變化與群體互動，並透過克制的敘事節奏，讓議題本身成為影像核心，而非情緒渲染。整體製作以真實性與現場感為優先，建立觀眾與議題之間的直接連結。
Outcome
最終完成一支具備紀錄價值與社會意識的公益影像作品，使淋巴水腫議題被更廣泛地看見，並透過實際行動轉譯，強化社會對癌症後續照護議題的理解與關注。
Context
This project was initiated by the Taiwan Lymphedema Association to raise awareness of lymphedema, a long-term condition often experienced by cancer survivors. Through a 520-kilometer cycling journey, the campaign aims to highlight the physical and psychological challenges faced by patients beyond cancer treatment.
Approach
The film adopts a documentary-driven approach, following two physicians on their 520-kilometer journey from north to south Taiwan. The narrative transforms a physical expedition into a visual representation of a broader social issue.
The production focuses on bodily experience, environmental change, and human interaction throughout the journey. A restrained storytelling approach is used to prioritize authenticity over dramatization, allowing the issue itself to remain at the center of the narrative.
Outcome
The final work stands as a socially engaged documentary piece that amplifies awareness of lymphedema, translating a physical endurance journey into a platform for public understanding and advocacy within post-cancer care discussions.
